THE
VAULT
Many of these recordings are non professional quality, many of them recorded with a four track recorder and some microphones. Please understand if the recordings are less than studio quality. However, most all of them are very "acceptable" quality. Some sound pretty damn good... I have been slowly converting much of the older recordings to MP3's, which seem to b e much better quality, with reasonable size and download speed. Watch for new material.
The material presented here represents
bands that I have been in over the last 28 years. They are listed in
chronological order from the top.
I have just recently posted some OLD material from myself, Doug Meeks,
Don Myles, Stu Elam, and Dale Sawyer. If you listen chronologically, you
can really get a sense of us growing in musical ability through the years (or
maybe not....). Posted in the Don, Dave, and Doug folder, is an
original 4 track by Doug Meeks. It is pretty cool. I am currently in
the process of remastering the old Hot Temper recordings to MP3's. Will
hopefully be done with that in the next few weeks or so.
The Sugar Creek Band formed up in 1979, and I was
in it until about 1982. I played the drums for Sugar Creek. Stereo
recordings made on a piece of junk recorder. It was actually an alarm
clock...
The recordings of Hot temper and Don, Dave, and
Doug date back into the 80's(I played the drums). Stereo recordings.
The recordings of Southern Cross date to the mid
90's (drums). ADAT
recordings Greely Wit was recorded in about 2000(drums).
4 track recordings.
Mr. Pink was recorded in early 2004. There
were some unfinished 24 track recordings that would have been killer, but this
is all I have of the band (bass).
The Userfriendly recordings were made within the
last couple of months on a stereo CD recorder hooked directly up to the mixing
board at Tommy G's (April 05(bass)).
High Maintenance recordings were made on a digital 24 track recorder.
Enjoy!
