We had LOTS of fun putting this band together. It all started when the guy I was working for told me that his wife sang pretty well. I didn't listen to him right away. But when I was really wanting to put something together, and I didn't have any leads, I decided to give her a listen. Her name at the time was Tonya Norman. I was floored the first time I heard her sing. It gave me cold chills up and down my spine. She sang a song by Amy Grant for me called "Lead Me On".
Anyway, we decided to try to put together a band right away. I knew a guy that played guitar (Jeff Gianneschi), and we decided to try to find a bassist. Well, finding a bassist proved to be a task we couldn't fulfill, so I played bass. I think we ran an ad for a drummer and got a call from a guy named John Elder. He turned out to be a great big buy with a heart of gold (and a good drummer too). We stayed together for about a year and a half. The band consisted of Tanya Norman/Bailey on lead vocals, Jeff Gianeschi on Guitar and vocals, John Elder on drums, and me on bass guitar/keyboard and vocals.
